First - Bachsee - Waldspitz 2h 20min
In the foreground lies the Bachalpsee and the majestic Bernese Alps with their eternal ice form the backdrop. A footpath leads between the two Bachalpsee lakes and shortly afterwards turns south. It continues through a moorland zone of national importance, where the Mühlebach river flows through numerous areas of humid ground and moss. A vast variety of flora delights you along the entire walk; blue gentian, pulsatilla, purple gentian, alpine anemone, primula, etc. From Bachläger to Waldspitz a sea of mountain roses lies at your feet, whose brilliant red forms a striking contrast to the green meadows of the valley and the white glaciers behind. From Waldspitz, choose between the Grindelwald Bus, bringing you back to Grindelwald, or the footpaths to Bort or Bussalp.
Waldspitz - Bort 40min
A path from the Waldspitz mountain restaurant leads through fields of alpine roses and blueberries, the forest and flower-strewn meadows to the Mühlebach waterfall and on to Bort. From here, you can return to Grindelwald in comfort on the 6-seater cable car.
Waldspitz - Feld - Bussalp 2h
Follow a short stretch of the Nature Route from the Waldspitz restaurant, and then turn off to the left through copses, hills and hollows, fields of flowers and alpine meadows to Feld. Then cross a gully and choose either the direct path or the route via Bussalp Oberläger to the Bussalp restaurant. On the return journey, enjoy the ride on the Grindelwald post bus.
