A UNESCO-World Heritage Themed Path in the Rear Lauterbrunnen Valley. The first themed path of the Unesco World Heritage Site Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschhorn was opened on the 24th June 2005. The themed path provides information for both visitors and residents of the Lauterbrunnen Valley about the contents and the meaning of the Unesco World Heritage site and encourages interest on the topics of waterfalls, alpine farming, hotspots, mountain hotels, history and legends.

The rear Lauterbrunnen Valley has an abundance of cultural and scenic assets as well as its waterfalls. In order to make these treasures more accessible to walkers and hikers, a themed path has been created with information boards, signposts, a hotspot, flyers and guided walks.
