What started off as a crazy idea born at the head chef's local in Wengen more than 10 years ago, the "Chästeilet" has developed into a popular event for both old and young as well as for guests from near and far. This festival is the meeting place for locals, farmers, tourists and finally also numerous cattle shareholders come to collect their dividends. Until 31 August anyone can purchase their "Cow Share" and reap the profit at the Chästeilet.
