The Mendelssohn music festival, one of Switzerland’s main classic music events. Felix Mendelssohn used to visit Switzerland’s Mountains for recreation, also the region of Wengen. The first painting of Wengen with the mountain Jungfrau was drawn by Mendelssohn.
